Fifteen years on, Skyrim on PS5 just got three expansion-sized Creations from the Fallout 4 Sim Settlements team — and unlike mods, they don’t disable trophies.
Three Kinggath Creations dropped on PS5: East Empire Expansion, Bards College Expansion, and Sigil of the Fallen. All expansion-sized — new questlines, characters, items, equipment, dungeons, gameplay mechanics, original voice acting.
Bards College finally lets you actually BE a bard: play instruments, busk for gold, inspire allies in combat, verbal-duel rival bards, chain shouts into “chants.” East Empire adds trading-company services like loot delivery and auto-selling. Sigil of the Fallen adds a 4-in-1 Spirit Guide companion and relic hunting.
Limited-time bundle: all three for 1,850 Creation Credits (~$18) — though credit packs force you to buy $20 or $25 worth.
Key trophy point: official Creations do NOT disable trophies on PS5.
Context: PS5’s Creations pipeline has lagged PC/Xbox for months or years on some releases — this drop is PS5 finally catching up.
Debate: paid fan-made DLC that doesn’t disable trophies — is Bethesda’s Creations system finally a fair deal for creators and players, or is charging $18 for mods still a bust? And Skyrim is 15 years old and still getting DLC-sized drops — greatest longevity in gaming history, or proof Bethesda would rather sell Skyrim forever than ship Elder Scrolls 6?
