Trophy Whores 393 – E3 2019: Sony Steps Away; Microsoft Steps Up

This week, the Trophy Whores dig into the press conferences from E3 2019.  Sony, of course, decided not to attend, which gave Microsoft the opportunity to hog the spotlight.  Nintendo, too, made gamers cheer with big announcements and elating surprises.  After the annual explosion of news, as only E3 can provide, the Trophy Whores have more to discuss than Games of Thrones fans who hate season eight.

Join the Trophy Whores as they discuss, among other things, the biggest news from the Microsoft, Nintendo, Bethesda, Ubisoft and Square Enix press conferences.

We are happy and proud to share that Proven Gamer has partnered with the Humble Bundle! The Humble Bundle is a fantastic initiative and program that allows games to score a litany of games on the cheap — all while making charitable donations to various groups and organizations. In a bit of big news that would make the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles proud, iHeartRadio and Spotify host episodes of Trophy Whores.  It’s a tremendous honor for the show to be part of two massive and respected entertainment communities, and Proven Gamer have only the fans to thank for pushing the podcast to soaring heights. Trophy Whores 304 – A Far Cry From Kingdom Hearts 3

This week Alex hosts, which means that you can expect brilliant segues and at least one BioShock reference.  With Mark and Stephen helping to navigate the latest video game news, we’ve got you covered on all the facts and stories that you need to know.  For instance, did you know that Sony Computer Entertainment needs to green-light a Heavenly Sword sequel?  Fact.

Early 2018 won’t lack heavy hitters.  Before the end of spring, Ubisoft will release Far Cry 5, and 2K Games will ship Red Dead Redemption 2.  While both games have evoked palpable excitement, Red Dead Redemption 2, a long-awaited sequel from Rockstar Games, has no doubt created a larger stir.  Red Dead Redemption 2 has been delayed; however, as always, 2K Games releases games when they are fit to sell.

Join the Trophy Whores as they discuss, among other things, Marvel Heroes Omega, Marvel’s Guardian’s of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series, Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy VII Remake.

In a bit of big news, iHeartRadio streams episodes of Trophy Whores, which greatly expands the show’s footprint and reach. It’s a tremendous honor for the show to be part of iHeartRadio’s massive and respected community, and Proven Gamer have only the fans to thank for pushing the podcast to this point.  The Trophy Whores work hard to put out a quality weekly show, but they owe so much love to their listeners, who keep the show strong and growing.

Trophy Whores 236 – Reborn Legends And Rampant Sequels

This week, we have “a beefy show,” which is Tricky’s clever way of saying that we have a lot (of nothing) to talk about. If you haven’t seen any videos from PlayStation experience, then the Trophy Whores have you covered like an Amish woman in a strip club.

According to Yield, the PlayStation Experience was pretty boring; however, the guys have compiled all of the best bits, so you are covered.  As always, there is good and bad, but if you are patient, then the gems will shine brilliantly.  Hopefully, you are prepared to ride this rickety barrel over a waterfall of information.

Join our den of thieves, physics, and martial arts masters as we discuss, among other things, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Final Fantasy VII, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, Ratchet And Clank, Pyschonauts 2, and … Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn?  Yeah.  That game.  The guys are still shocked.  Somewhere there’s a dumpster fire that deserves that money.
