Believe it, football fans — Ted Lasso is officially back on the pitch. EA Sports has brought Ted Lasso and AFC Richmond to EA Sports FC 27, and this time the Greyhounds are bringing the whole club with them.

Players can now take charge of AFC Richmond in Manager Career with Ted Lasso himself on the touchline, complete with his trademark optimism and, yes, his iconic moustache. The update also marks the debut of the AFC Richmond Women’s team, giving players a chance to build the women’s side into a powerhouse.

Ultimate Team players aren’t left out either. A new set of themed objectives lets you earn Lasso-themed rewards, including kits, stadium items, and a playable Ted Lasso manager item to lead your squad.

EA Sports FC 27 is available now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. The Ted Lasso content is available in-game now.

Are you ready to believe again? Let us know if you’ll be taking the Greyhounds all the way to the top.
