Nintendo Duel Screens 61 – Indie-Visible | Guest Host Laurent Mercure | Chainsawesome Games | Aftercharge

We are fully-charged and ready for action as Guest Host Laurent Mercure, Marketing Monkey & Community Papa of Chainsawsome Games, joins us to talk about Aftercharge – a 3V3 FPS title that pits the invisible against the invincible. Gamescom 2018 also came and went and it did not disappoint as a butt-load of indie games were announced/confirmed for the Switch. Inkypen draws up some Hype Zone realness and last but not least, the Retro Game Club reveals the importance of naked chicks in advertising.

Trophy Whores – Fireside Chat 2: Origin of Trophy Whores

Here we are again.  Like Alex has said, the Trophy Whores Fireside Chats might have to become a series.  After overwhelmingly positive feedback from the first show, Alex and Tricky sit down again by the fireside and shoot the breeze in an informal chat.  We’re still putting together the best possible episode 300; however, we want to show our dedication to Trophy Whores Nation and give you all another freewheeling chat that peeks a little further behind the curtain.  With episode 300 on the horizon, what better way to pay homage to the history of Trophy Whores than by expounding upon the origin of the show?  If Spider-Man deserves an origin story, then we do, too.  Tricky started this revolution; he has to be the person to tell this story.  In 10 years, maybe we can call it an epic.  Like Beowulf.

Yes.  Just like Beowulf.

In a bit of big, big news, Trophy Whores is on iHeartRadio, which greatly expands the show’s footprint and reach. It’s a tremendous honor for the show to be part of iHeartRadio’s massive and respected community, and Proven Gamer have only the fans to thank for pushing the podcast to this point.  The Trophy Whores work hard to put out a quality weekly show, but they owe so much love to their listeners, who keep the show strong and growing.
