Project Cars 2 Releases Playable Demo

An official demo has been released for Project Cars 2. The demo is available for download on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Players will be able to take part in some of the racing scenarios that are in the full game and will have access to three cars.

Additionally, it was announced that the first expansion pack for the game will release in this Winter. The “Funk Pack” will include two tracks and eight new cars. Check out the full details of the expansion below:

  • Two New Tracks: Circuit De Barcelona-Catalunya Rallycross, and Brands Hatch Rallycross Historic.
  • Eight new cars: This will include Matthias Ekstrom’s Audi S1 EKS RX Quattro, and Petter Solberg’s Citroën DS3 RX Supercar
  • Three cars from drifting world champion Vaughn Gittin Jr.: The Ford Bronco “Brocky”, Ford Mustang RTR Spec – 5D, and the Mustang ’66 RTR
  • Three Group B legends: The Ford RS200 EvolutionRenault R5 Maxi Turbo, and Audi Sport quattro S1

Project Cars 2 Coming September 22nd

Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that Project Cars 2 will launch worldwide on September 22 of this year. Along with a release date, it was also revealed that the first public demo of the game would be available at the Bandai Namco Booth at E3 next week. Fans and press alike will be able to check out the new multi-class racing that allows multiple car classes in an event.

A new trailer was published today as well, focusing on the “sandbox” experience of the career mode. In the mode, players will be able to choose where they want to start their career. There are 9 different disciplines to take on throughout the career mode. Project Cars 2 will launch PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 22.  Check out the latest E3 trailer for the game below:

Rallycross Coming to Project Cars 2

In advance of its release later this year, Bandai Namco has announced that Rallycross racing will be coming to Project Cars 2. The high speed dirt racing will come with a full stock of licensed cars and tracks.The tracks will all be closed course races feature massive jumps, obstacles, and other drivers that players will need to contend with.

Slighltly Mad Studios has brought in Rallycross racing icons Mitchell deJong and Oliver Eriksson as consultants on the project. Their goal is to help create the most accurate Rallycross experience possible.

Project Cars 2 is expected to launch later this year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Check out the Rallycross gameplay trailer below.
