Coming by way of Splinter Cell Blacklist developer, Ubisoft Toronto, Starlink: Battle for Atlas is coming to X-Box One, PS4 and the Switch in fall 2018.
Starlink is a toys-to-life space combat game where the toys seem to be interchangeable components to build your own custom space fighter. You can change your ships design, and therefore their firepower, mid-battle by swapping out physical parts or by using in game items for those who don’t splurge for the toys. The “base” where all these mods take place seems to attach to the controllers in some way.
Currently there is no information regarding Ubisoft’s plan for the release of the ships and parts, but I cannot imagine it will be too long before we know more information.
