After being introduced as having a rabid cult following, gameplay was shown for Monster Hunter World, coming to PlayStation 4. The trailer dove right in, with the hunter tracking beasts, collecting resources, and hiding from packs of raptor-like creatures.
Camouflage was used to sneak up on a T-Rex like a creature, but the beast put up a fight. A grappling hook was used to take it down briefly, but it was quickly up and in pursuit of the hunter. While escaping, a dragon attacked the other creature.
Monster Hunter World will be coming in early 2018.
