Are We There Yet? The Funniest Co-Op Disaster on Steam Hits PS5 and Switch 2 on October 29 — With Full Cross-Play

Steam’s favorite co-op disaster is packing its bags. RV There Yet? — the physics-based co-op survival game from Nuggets Entertainment that turned road trips into rage-bait comedy — officially launches on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 on October 29, 2026, with full cross-play across every platform. If you have ever wanted to scream at your friends while winching an RV up a cliff, this is your week.

The pitch is gloriously simple: grab up to four players, load into a fully drivable RV, and haul it across Mabutts Valley — a physics playground of cliffs, mud, and questionable road design — from start to finish without falling apart. Literally. The RV has fuel to manage, parts to upgrade, and a winch that is equal parts lifeline and liability. When the road ends, you get out, you push, you weld, and you argue about whose fault the last rollover was.

What made the Steam version stick — and it clearly stuck, given the console push — is how the chaos scales. Solo players can go full lone-wolf survivalist, but the game truly sings with a crew: one person driving, one on the winch, one navigating, one standing on the roof for no reason. Physics does the rest. Every crossing becomes a story, and every story ends with someone laughing too hard to steer straight.

The console versions are not bare ports. Both the PS5 and Switch 2 editions ship with the full Steam feature set, including the sandbox mode, and cross-play means your console crew can roll with PC friends on day one. The developers have been clear: no platform gets a lesser trip.

October 29 puts it right in the middle of the fall co-op rush, and honestly, the timing is perfect — this is the kind of game that thrives when everyone is inside looking for something to play together. The price has not been confirmed for consoles yet, but the Steam version has historically sat in impulse-buy territory, so expect something friendly.

One honest note: physics co-op games live and die on netcode, and console cross-play at launch is where we will be watching closely. If the winch physics hold up across platforms, this could be the surprise party game of the season. We will have impressions as soon as the engines start.
