New PS5 Games This Week: Phantom Blade Zero Leads a Halloween-Week Bloodbath (Week of October 26)

Halloween week is stacked on PlayStation. One of the year’s most-hyped action games finally unsheathes its blade, a stack of horror games lands just in time for the 31st, and PS Plus Extra subscribers get their final October drops today. Here is everything hitting the PlayStation Store this week.

Phantom Blade Zero — Thursday, October 29 (unlocks 10 PM ET Oct 28 in the US) — PS5 — $59.99 (Digital Deluxe $69.99)

S-GAME’s kung fu punk action RPG is the week’s main event, full stop. You play Soul, a framed assassin with a ruined heart and exactly 66 days to live, carving through the Wulin with more than 30 weapons pulled from the bosses you beat. It is fast, stylish and built for replaying — and at $59.99 it undercuts most big fall releases. Trophy hunters: no Platinum details confirmed at time of writing, so check the list before you commit to the hunt.

The Séance of Blake Manor — Tuesday, October 27 — PS5 — $19.99

One of 2025’s best-reviewed PC detective games makes its console debut on the perfect week for it. Private investigator Declan Ward arrives at a remote Irish hotel in 1897 to find a missing woman — on the night a room full of mystics plans to tear down the veil and talk to the dead. Every action costs time, suspects move on their own schedules, and your journal is your best weapon. It scored an 89 on Metacritic on PC; console players finally get in.

Mouthwashing — Thursday, October 29 — PS5, PS4 — $12.99

Wrong Organ’s first-person psychological horror finally reaches PlayStation. Five crew members, one wrecked space freighter, a captain who cannot speak and cannot die properly — and six months of dwindling power and food. It is short, brutal and impossible to shake, and at $12.99 it is the easiest recommendation of the week for horror fans.

The Wolf Among Us Remastered — Thursday, October 29 — PS5 — $24.99

Bigby Wolf is back. Telltale’s Fables noir returns in a definitive edition with enhanced visuals, a black-and-white Noir Mode, five fully playable Lost Scenes and a stack of behind-the-scenes extras. Launch discounts run up to 50% for owners of the original digital version. We covered the full breakdown — The Wolf Among Us Remastered — in our post last week.

SULFUR — Wednesday, October 28 — PS5, PS4 — $24.99

Perfect Random’s roguelike FPS leaves Early Access and lands on consoles the same day. Blast through hostile zones, mod your weapons, cook deeply questionable meals to survive, and try to make your loot stash out. Half a million copies sold on PC says the loop works.

Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy — Tuesday, October 27 — PS5 — $39.99

Stormind Games closes its survival-horror trilogy. Your daughter has been kidnapped, and the hunt for her runs through Villa Ashmann with retrocognition, mirror abilities and moth manipulation in your toolkit — a deliberate throwback to classic fixed-camera survival horror with an Italian neo-giallo streak, and a soundtrack involving Akira Yamaoka on the Deluxe Edition.
