Proven Gamer is an independent gaming site and the home of the Trophy Whores Podcast — 700+ episodes and counting. We’re a small, community-run team, and every position below is volunteer — nobody here is getting rich, we do this because we love it. No prior experience is required: if you can communicate, hit a deadline, and you’ve got opinions about games, you’ve got what it takes.

Gaming news moves fast, and Proven Gamer posts it daily. News Writers turn announcements, trailers, reveals and updates into clean, accurate, original stories for provengamer.com. If you follow the industry every day and can write fast without just copy-pasting a press release, this is your spot.
Play games, tell people the truth about them. Reviewers write honest, critical reviews (and previews and features) of games across PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo and PC. You’ll work with our editors, meet agreed deadlines, and back up your score with your words. Comfortable on camera too? Even better — there’s room to take reviews to video.
Read submitted reviews, news and features and get them ready to post: clean copy, correct facts, headlines that earn the click. You must be a strong writer and proofreader, and able to turn edits around within 48 hours — sooner is even cooler. Editors are welcome to write reviews and features too.
Help us cut the good stuff: podcast highlights, stream clips, trailers and shorts for YouTube, TikTok and our socials. This is a remote role on your own setup — if you know your way around an editing program and can turn a clip around while it’s still relevant, we want to see your work. No film set, no fancy camera package, just good edits.
Got a show, or an idea for one? We’re listening. Whether it’s joining the conversation around the Trophy Whores Podcast or pitching a show of your own, you must be able to keep a regular schedule and handle your own recording and editing.
Live on X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Bluesky or YouTube? Put it to work. The social team keeps Proven Gamer posting daily: sharing our stories and episodes, cutting through with clips and graphics, talking with the community, and helping promote events like Extra Life Game Day. No team to manage and no corporate ladder — just post good stuff, consistently.
