Through phones and tablets, players can invite friends to play, chat, and set up play-dates. Users will get a free trial period to try out the online features before it becomes a paid service in the Fall of 2017. No price was given for the online features.
The Switch will also feature a monthly game download. Players will gain access to a NES or SNES game for a month through this paid feature.
