PowerWash Simulator Just Invaded Fortnite — SPLASHOUT Turns Cleaning Into an 8-Player Dirt War

The most satisfying job in gaming just clocked into the biggest game on the planet. FuturLab has launched PowerWash SPLASHOUT, a brand-new island inside Fortnite that takes PowerWash Simulator‘s grime-blasting gameplay and turns it into a competitive race. It’s live right now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, PC, and mobile — just enter island code 7630-0397-6508 in Fortnite’s Discover menu.

Here’s the twist: you’re not cleaning alone with a podcast on anymore. SPLASHOUT supports solo play, co-op with friends, and team battles for up to eight players, all racing to turn the filthiest locations and vehicles sparkling before the other side does. Teammates can help each other out with building and buffs — or you can play dirty, literally, by dropping dirt rain and dirt bombs on the rival crew to undo their hard work.

The island is set in a bright, playful world built from the PowerWash Simulator universe, with locations and vehicles to scrub down and plenty of corners to explore between jobs. There’s progression layered on top, too: you’ll earn PowerWash Points and XP as you play, which go toward upgrading your equipment, your Mega Gnome, and your Rebirth level.

It’s a smart fit — Fortnite crossovers are having a moment right now, with One Piece’s Going Merry landing in Fortnite just days ago, and PowerWash has quietly become one of the most beloved sim series around since the original launched in 2022. One important note: SPLASHOUT is an independently created Fortnite island from FuturLab, not an official Epic Games production.
