Agents, the wait is almost over. The Division 2: Echoes of Central Park launches Tuesday, November 3, and Ubisoft’s development team previewed the expansion in a launch stream on November 2 — covering Creative Direction, Level Design, Narrative Design, and Environment Art — while the full patch notes for Title Update Y8S3.3 lay out everything else arriving with it, from the staged crossplay rollout to the Red Horizon Master Climax Mission.
RogueGold broke down the stream and the patch notes in a new video, and the short version is this: November is the biggest month The Division 2 has had in a long time.
A First-Ever Trip Into Central Park
For the first time in franchise history, players will explore Central Park and the Upper West Side, in an area stretching from Lincoln Square to the Dakota District and roughly twice the size of Battle for Brooklyn — the largest playable area the game has added since Warlords of New York.

Echoes of Central Park is presented as a flashback, set in the summer after Warlords of New York. Agents answer a distress signal coming from deep inside a park that has been sealed off since the outbreak, and investigate disappearances, rumors, and a sinister new threat. Ubisoft describes it as the darkest, most horror-leaning story the series has told, while still staying grounded in the Tom Clancy universe.
The DLC is playable solo or in online co-op, requires the base game, and costs $19.99 for the Standard Edition or $29.99 for the Deluxe Edition. Every copy includes a Level 40 Boost and a 50-space stash increase, pre-purchasing earns the NY Purifier Mask at launch, and the Deluxe Edition adds the Brayleigh, Elwood, and Morse outfits plus an Exotic weapon skin for The Ratel.
Three Companions, Six New Skill Variants, and The Ratel
Echoes introduces three story companions, and you can bring one with you — in co-op, the group leader’s companion is the one assigned to the group. Brayleigh Callahan is a sniper, Elwood Franklin is a protector, and Morse Feeney is a veteran former First Wave agent in an assault role. Each companion has their own backstory, personality, and combat abilities, and choosing a different companion on a replayed mission changes how that mission plays out.

Agents can also earn six new skill variants — including the Corrosive Trap and the Gas Bomber — and bring them back into the main game once unlocked. The DLC also adds a new gear set and a new Exotic weapon, The Ratel.
Start as the Hunted, End as the Hunter
After the campaign, Central Park becomes a replayable endgame experience. On your first trips in, you are the hunted: no GPS, facing a constant flood of enemies while you learn the park and collect gear. The longer you survive and the more you learn about the threat inside, the more the tables turn — until you come back as the hunter, hunting the Apex Threat for exclusive rewards.
Crossplay Rolls Out in Three Stages
Crossplay is finally coming to The Division 2 — but not all at once. PC, PlayStation, and Xbox players will be able to play together from November 17, after a staged migration:

- November 3: Crossplay icons and interface changes appear in-game, but cross-platform play is not live yet.
- November 10: PC players move to the new Crossplay servers. PC Leaderboards will reset as part of the move.
- November 17: PlayStation and Xbox players join the new servers, Crossplay goes live across all three platforms, and its options become available in-game.
Leaderboards will be temporarily hidden on all platforms until November 17. Crossplay will be enabled by default when it goes live, and you can turn it off from the character selection screen.
Clans are changing with the move, too. The Clan member limit doubles from 50 to 100, and your Clan moves automatically when its first member joins the new servers. Places are reserved for original members who have not moved yet — currently planned to last three months — and returning members keep their original ranks. If a Clan name is already taken on the new servers, a platform number is added to the end (PC #2, Xbox #3, PlayStation #4). Clan messages, invites and join requests, and Clan caches will not carry over.
Master Climax Mission and Loaded for Bear
Title Update Y8S3.3 also closes out the Year 8 Season 3 Red Horizon season. The Master Climax Mission becomes available November 3, and your first completion on Master difficulty guarantees Loaded for Bear, a new pair of Exotic Gloves. The gloves can also drop from the Climax Mission at any difficulty, with higher difficulties offering better chances.
Loaded for Bear’s talent, Afterburn, applies stacks to enemies you hit — up to 20 stacks on a single enemy. When you reload, every stack is consumed to deal 100% Weapon Damage per stack to the enemy it was applied to.
Shepherd Event, Friend Referral, and Conflict Changes
From November 17 to November 26, the Shepherd Event Project returns as a six-project chain built around answering Calls for Backup. Each project asks you to gain one Shepherd Rank, and the full chain is available from day one. Every project pays out 10 Exotic Components and 700,000 XP, Projects 1 to 5 each award a Reconstructed Cache, and the final project awards Malinois, a Named Mk16. The increase from 1 to 3 automatic endorsements from the previous Shepherd Event stays in place.
The Friend Referral Program is getting new outfit rewards, too. Each invited friend who plays at least 2 hours counts toward your rewards: the Cyclops Outfit for your first successful referral, the Esprit de Corps Outfit for your second, and the Frenzied Outfit for your invited friends.
Conflict is getting a scoreboard overhaul in Y8S3.3. Alongside kills and assists, new Defend, Snipe, Support, and Disrupt stats will show how you actually contribute, and in Domination the scoreboard will show Captures instead of Deaths. Four new Combat Marks — Iron Wall, Extended Reach, Tactical Aid, and System Breaker — award match score, and end-of-match Honor Marks recognize standout players, with MVP earning 200 XP and 15 additional Conflict Commendation Currency, and other Honor Marks earning 150 XP and 8 additional CCC. The update also brings another round of PvP balance changes.
Ubisoft is also giving Stretch Goals a break this season while the team takes a fresh look at them, with plans to bring them back next season. Y8S3.3 fixes several issues as well, including reduced accuracy with the Steel & Sons ACR Exotic Rifle when firing from cover, a broken transition when accessing the Red Horizon Season Pass, a missing Reconfiguration Blueprint for the Harrier Pride Exotic Backpack, and the Protected Reload Talent not granting bonus armor to other subgroups. One known issue remains: after completing all Manhunt Scouts marked as High-Value Targets, the Climax Mission can stay locked in the Scouts menu — logging out and back in is the listed workaround.
Echoes of Central Park, the Master Climax Mission, and the first stage of crossplay all arrive November 3, with full crossplay following on November 17. We will see you in the park, Agents.
