Rockstar Releases New L.A. Noire Remaster Trailer

With its release several weeks away, Rockstar has released a new trailer for the upcoming remastered edition of L.A. Noire.

L.A. Noire made its mark with its facial reading and police investigation systems when it was originally released in 2011. As detective Cole Phelp’s it was the player’s job to collect evidence on a variety of cases and determine what witnesses and suspects were being truthful or dishonest.

The remastered version of the game is coming to Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and a special version on HTC Vive on November 14. Each version of the game will be coming with visual enhancements and specific system changes as well. Check out the latest trailer for the game below:


HTC Vive Announces Fallout 4 VR Bundle

HTC Vive has announced that they will be offering a new hardware bundle for their VR console. Starting today, October 2, anyone who purchases an HTC Vive will receive a code for Fallout 4 VR, which launches on December 12.

Fallout 4 VR includes the entire game along with new combat, crafting, and building systems that have been rebuilt for the VR experience.

L.A. Noire Returning on Modern Consoles

Rockstar has announced that the detective game L.A. Noire is coming back on modern consoles. The game will release for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Switch on November 14. Along with the console versions of the game, seven cases have been rebuilt and will be released on HTC Vive as L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files. 

Along with the base game, each version of the game will also be getting specific tweaks and improvements to enhance the gamer’s experience.

The Switch version of the game will bring gesture based controls, HD Rumble, touch screen controls, and a new over-the-shoulder camera angle.

Xbox and PlayStation players will see a wide variety of technical and visual enhancements such as new camera angles, enhanced lighting, and high-resolution textures.

Horror Adventure Alone?-VR Launches on October 7th

Immerse yourself in a true virtual reality horror experience with the release of “Alone?-VR” for HTC Vive, scheduled for release Friday 7th October 2016 on Steam.

Explore and experience a fully immersive world as you embark on an adventure like nothing you have played before. Your sister Michelle, is missing. All you have to go by is a letter that was left in the post. Reading it, you find that the letter is from your sister, and is a plea for help; it begs for you to return to your childhood home, and to help with the strange occurrences that have been plaguing her over the past few months.

Can you track down your missing sister? And discover the strange happenings at the home where he grew up in? All awhile, learning about the sinister activities that are occurring in their childhood home. But beware, nothing is as it seems.

Alone?-VR features a unique control scheme that allows for full immersion by utilizing the trackpad to move, appose to traditional teleporting around the scene. In addition, there are four endings to find, three unique environments (all of which is fully interactive with), and a soundtrack that enhances immersion and tension. Brace yourself, for anything can happen, and at any time.

Bethesda Softworks®, a ZeniMax® Media company, today revealed that Fallout 4 for HTC Vive VR headsets will be released within the next 12 months. At BE3 Plus, attendees were given a taste of what’s to come, exploring the world of Fallout 4, using the game’s Pip-Boy and interacting with Dogmeat – all in virtual reality. The demo will also be playable at Bethesda’s E3 booth (South Hall, #1647).

“We think that VR is the perfect fit for truly immersive games like our massive open-world RPGs,” said Bethesda Global VP of Marketing & PR Pete Hines. “If you thought Survival Mode was an intense Fallout experience… you ain’t seen nothing yet.”

Fallout 4’s upcoming VR release is a glimpse of where Bethesda is headed with VR, further illustrating Bethesda’s drive to remain a leader in cutting edge technology – including VR – and to offer fans the best games on whatever platform they choose.

“We are thrilled to welcome the incredible world of Fallout 4 to the HTC Vive platform. Players are going to be blown away when they experience Fallout 4 VR with the full immersion offered on the Vive,” said Joel Breton, VP of VR Content for HTC.

In addition to offering a demo of Fallout 4, a VR tour of hell in DOOM was also available at BE3 Plus. The DOOM demo will be available at Bethesda’s E3 booth. The demo exhibits idTech 6’s impressive next-gen graphics and rendering.
