Butterscotch Shenanigans finally released it’s hotly anticipated title Crashlands on the 21st of January. Best known for their mobile games, Butterscotch is finally bringing it’s unique style of humor and addicting gameplay to PC for the first time. Games like Quadropus Rampage and Flop Rocket prove that Butterscotch knows how to create simple but interesting gameplay; Crashlands is no different. It blends familiar mechanics, from games like Don’t Starve and Diablo, with it’s own flair.
Handily, Crashlands boasts an interesting cross platform save system that allows players to take their PC worlds right into their pocket at the press of a button and vice versa. With this kind of access, I can see Crashlands eating any survival game enthusiast’s time.
