The Metro is calling us back. 4A Games has opened pre-orders for Metro 2039, the next chapter in the beloved post-apocalyptic series, coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
This time, the story follows Artyom on an expedition to find Moth, joined by Katya — the 25-year-old daughter of Artyom and Anna. Expect the series’ signature tense, atmospheric survival, haunting tunnels, and a world that never feels safe for long.
Three editions are up for pre-order: the Standard Edition (£59.99 / $69.99 / €69.99), the Deluxe Edition (£74.99 / $89.99 / €89.99), and a Collector’s Edition (£174.99 / $199.99 / €199.99) packed with physical goodies for die-hard fans.
Pre-ordering gets you the RPK-74 “Cursed Relic” weapon, Night Vision Goggles, and two additional weapon packs — a nice head start before you descend back underground.
If Metro has been on your backlog-to-hype list, now is the time to lock in your copy.
