Switch 2 owners, your mission date is locked in. IO Interactive and Amazon MGM Studios have confirmed that 007 First Light launches on Nintendo Switch 2 on March 18, 2027, and pre-orders are open right now.
The announcement came with a brand-new gameplay trailer showing Bond’s re-imagined origin story running on Nintendo’s hardware. After extra development time to nail the experience, IO took hands-on builds to gamescom and Tokyo Game Show, where player and press response was positive — and the team says the coming months will be spent refining optimization and performance on Switch 2.
Pre-orders are live at the Nintendo Store, Amazon, and selected retailers. The Deluxe Edition ($69.99) grants the GoldenEye Suit at launch, plus the Gleaming Lighter, Gleaming Earphones, Gleaming Dart Gun, and Gleaming Pen gadgets, and four extra outfits: Day of the Dead, Desert Explorer, Silent Anchor, and Gentleman Operator. Amazon also has an exclusive Special Edition that includes the Classic Tuxedo.
Already own another platform? You’re covered — 007 First Light is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
