One year ago, AdHoc Studio — a team built from Telltale Games alumni — launched Dispatch, a superhero workplace comedy where you play Robert Robertson, a washed-up hero stuck running a desk of reformed supervillains. The game has now passed 5 million players, and instead of a quiet birthday, AdHoc is celebrating with a pile of new content: two behind-the-scenes modes that are live right now, a mobile version in December, and an actual live concert in Los Angeles.
16 Hours of Commentary, and the Whole Game in Storyboards
The headline addition is Commentary Mode, out now as a free update for Deluxe Edition owners. It works like the old DVD special features: two separate commentary tracks — one from the cast, one from the developers — play over the game, with more than 16 hours of material recorded across every episode. The cast track features Aaron Paul, Laura Bailey, Erin Yvette, and more of the ensemble, and the commentary reacts to the choices you make, so different playthroughs surface different stories from the recording booth and the dev floor.
Alongside it is Storyboard Mode, which lets you play the entire game through its original storyboard animatics — the rough sketches the team used to plan every scene before the finished animation existed. And if you want the full behind-the-scenes stack, the two modes can be combined, commentary and all.
“Dispatch was only possible because of folks who believed in it enough to show up and do their best work,” said Nick Herman, co-creative director on Dispatch and COO of AdHoc Studio, in the announcement.
Deluxe Edition owners get both modes free. If you own the standard edition, the Deluxe upgrade runs $10.99 and also throws in the digital art book and four digital comics.

Dispatch Goes Mobile December 9
Dispatch is coming to iOS and Android on December 9, 2026, rebuilt for touch controls and vertical play, with support for Google Play Games on PC. The first four episodes are free, and the full game runs $19.99. App Store pre-orders and Google Play pre-registration open soon.
A Live Concert, Because of Course There Is
The celebration wraps up in person with Dispatch Night Shift, a one-night-only live concert on Thursday, December 3, 2026 at AVALON Hollywood in Los Angeles. THOT SQUAD — the voice of Prism — will perform songs from the game live alongside Bershy, Primer, Caroline Kingsbury, and Fartbarf. Tickets are extremely limited, AdHoc’s email subscribers get first pick before the public sale, and the show is in-person only — it will not be streamed.
New merch is also on the way: a three-record soundtrack vinyl set with art by art director Derek Stratton (100 of them signed), physical editions of the four digital comics whose covers combine into one big battle scene, and Dispatch: Design Works, a hardcover book of concept art, cast interviews, and developer insights. The first 1,000 orders on AdHoc’s online store also receive a limited-edition numbered collector’s card.

Dispatch is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
