Scouts, check your gear. KOEI TECMO and developer Omega Force have opened digital pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Attack on Titan 3 — A.O.T. 3 — and released a brand-new trailer built specifically to show the game running on Nintendo’s new hardware.
If you’ve been waiting on this news, you have a good memory: when the December 10, 2026 release date was locked in back in August, pre-orders opened on the other platforms while Switch 2 digital pre-orders were promised “at a later date.” Today is that later date. Switch 2 owners can now pre-order the digital standard edition through the Nintendo eShop and the Nintendo Store, joining PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam for the shared December 10 launch.

A.O.T. 3 is positioned as the culmination of Omega Force’s action series, depicting the story of Attack on Titan from the Survey Corps’ beginnings all the way to its dramatic conclusion. If the previous games are anything to go by, expect the series’ signature omni-directional mobility gear combat — zipping around Titans at speed, severing limbs, and going for the nape — now built for current-generation hardware only.
There are several ways to enlist. The standard edition is available digitally and physically. Physical buyers on any platform can pre-order a special SteelBook launch edition with ICONART. The Digital Deluxe Edition bundles the base game with a digital artbook, a character customization pack, an original equipment pack, and a starter item pack. One August announcement detail worth remembering: the Digital Deluxe’s 72-hour early access does not apply to the Switch 2 version or the Upgrade Pack, so Nintendo players start on December 10 with everybody else.
Bonuses are stacked for early buyers. Digital pre-orders include the “Wings of Freedom Earrings” customization item. Everyone who buys the game early — physical or digital — also gets the “Wings of Freedom Hoodie” customization item; on physical copies that hoodie is limited to the first production run, while digital buyers have until December 23, 2026. And veterans are not forgotten: players carrying save data from Attack on Titan 2 or Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle will receive extra in-game bonuses, with full details still to come.

The presentation package is rounded out with Japanese voice acting and text in English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish.
With the full story arc, a current-gen-only build, and every platform’s pre-orders finally live, A.O.T. 3 is shaping up to be Omega Force’s definitive swing at one of anime’s biggest franchises. December 10 is closer than it looks — dedicate your hearts.
