Fulqrum Publishing and developer Misterial Games have confirmed that Stygian: Outer Gods, their Lovecraftian survival horror RPG, will leave Early Access and launch in full on October 26, 2026.
The announcement, published today on GamesPress, brings the game’s Early Access journey to a close. The complete version arrives on PC via Steam and GOG priced at $24.99, with a 20 percent launch discount for early buyers. The full release delivers the complete story alongside an expanded set of content added during Early Access.
The game first entered Early Access in April 2025, giving players an early taste of Kingsport while Misterial Games continued building out the full experience. Since then, the team has been expanding the story and its systems toward this full launch, and the October 26 date marks the moment the complete vision finally arrives.
Set in the universe of Stygian: Reign of the Old Ones, Outer Gods rewinds the clock to the events preceding the Black Day. Players take on the role of Jack Harrison, who joins an expedition to the fog-shrouded settlement of Kingsport hoping to find his missing father. Once a prosperous harbor town, Kingsport is now decrepit and all but abandoned. After Jack is shipwrecked on its shores, he comes face to face with the nightmares that have haunted the place for centuries.
Kingsport itself is one of the game’s defining features: a place of forgotten secrets, unsettling encounters, and dangers lurking around every corner. The journey stretches from desolate streets and a mysterious family mansion to abandoned mines, fog-shrouded forests, and otherworldly realms — an atmospheric world steeped in cosmic horror inspired by the works of H. P. Lovecraft.
Survival in Kingsport demands more than firepower. Resources are scarce, so players must manage what they find, craft useful items and remedies, and adapt to threats that endanger both body and mind. Sanity is as fragile as life here: mental afflictions can alter the experience itself, while character progression lets players develop abilities and approach challenges in different ways.
Every choice carries weight. Exploration, investigation, combat, and character development are intertwined in a story where decisions can have irreversible consequences. Multiple paths, branching outcomes, and hidden secrets encourage players to think carefully before acting — and as the influence of the Outer Gods grows, the line between reality and madness becomes increasingly difficult to perceive.
The 1.0 release brings the complete story together with new content: a new chapter, fresh puzzles, artifacts, weapons, enemies, and a boss encounter, all contributing to a more extensive journey through the world of Stygian: Outer Gods. The game’s official GamesPress listing also shows PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions alongside PC.
Alongside the full release, players can expand the experience with three additional offerings: the Official Digital Artbook, featuring nearly 200 pages of artwork inspired by the game’s Lovecraftian universe; the Official Soundtrack, carrying the game’s unsettling atmosphere beyond the game itself; and The Heretic’s Arsenal Pack, which adds a mysterious artifact and two deadly melee weapons to the player’s arsenal. Everything is also available together in a Deluxe Edition Bundle at a 10 percent discount.
Stygian: Outer Gods is the debut project of Misterial Games, a studio founded in 2023 that builds survival horror games with Unreal Engine 5 and Nanite technology. The game is published by Fulqrum Publishing, whose portfolio of more than a hundred releases includes Men of War, King’s Bounty, Space Rangers, Fell Seal, and Forgive Me Father.
