New PS5 Games This Week: Godzilla Smashes Into a Packed Week (Week of November 2)

PlayStation Store new releases this week

Welcome back, Proven Gamer crew — the PlayStation Store new releases November 2 week is an absolute monster. We are looking at 24+ PS5 games landing between Monday and Friday, plus the November PS Plus drop, all before the GTA 6 rush swallows the rest of the month whole. Whether you want kaiju chaos, spy drama or a Wonderland nightmare, something here has your name on it.

Our list this week leans on the excellent Push Square weekly guide, cross-checked against the PlayStation Store. Here are the big ones first, then everything else.

PlayStation Store new releases November 2: The Big Ones

Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered — Tuesday, November 3 — PS5 — $29.99

The King of the Monsters is back in the arena. Atari and Pipeworks have remastered the beloved 2002 kaiju arena brawler for PS5, with 12 playable monsters, 8 battleground locations and — for the first time — online multiplayer alongside local co-op. Expect city-smashing chaos with a fresh coat of paint. Trophy hunters: arena brawlers like this usually tie the Platinum to clearing every mode with every monster, so budget your weekends.

ZERO PARADES: Director’s Cut — Tuesday, November 3 — PS5

ZA/UM, the studio behind Disco Elysium, returns with an espionage RPG about a burnt-out operative dragged back in for one last parade of lies. The Director’s Cut adds roughly 40,000 words of new writing, a new Dramatic Encounter and a Backstage Mode for players who love peeking behind the curtain. If you like your RPGs heavy on dice, dialogue and dread, this is the thinking player’s pick of the week. Trophy hunters: expect a list that rewards multiple playthroughs and very different choices.

Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive — Tuesday, November 3 — PS5

Sung Jinwoo’s climb from weakest hunter to Shadow Monarch gets the full action-RPG treatment. Based on the hit webtoon, Arise Overdrive pairs flashy solo combat with 4-player co-op raids, so you and three friends can clear the gates together. Anime adaptations can be hit or miss, but the combat here looks fast, stylish and properly over the top — just like Jinwoo himself. Trophy hunters: raid-focused lists usually mean a long, grindy road to the Platinum.

VOID/BREAKER — Wednesday, November 4 — PS5

VOID/BREAKER key art

VOID/BREAKER traps you in an endless loop controlled by a hostile AI, hands you a gun and tells you to break out. This fast, punchy roguelite FPS has been building a following in early access, and this week marks its full 1.0 launch on PS5. Runs reward aggression, quick thinking and learning the loop one death at a time. Trophy hunters: roguelite lists tend to be skill-heavy, so bring patience along with your aim.

CRYMELIGHT — Thursday, November 5 — PS5 — $17.99

A dark twist on Alice in Wonderland: Alice has lost her memories and wakes in a Wonderland that serves as a prison for dead souls. CRYMELIGHT blends action-roguelite combat with a gothic storybook look, and at $17.99 it is one of the cheaper gambles of the week. Curiouser and curiouser — in the bleakest possible way. Trophy hunters: short roguelites often hide one or two nasty no-death trophies, so tread carefully down the rabbit hole.

Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School — Thursday, November 5 — PS5

Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School campus escape room

Class is back in session. Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School is billed as the first open-world escape-room game, opening up a whole campus of puzzle rooms to crack solo or in online and local co-op. If the original hooked you, this bigger, freer sequel should be an easy A. Trophy hunters: the first game was a friendly Platinum, and we are hoping the sequel keeps that generous energy.

PS Plus in November

November’s PS Plus Essential games joined the service on Tuesday, November 3: Dead Island 2 (PS5/PS4), Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered (PS5/PS4) and Monster Train 2 (PS5). All three are claimable until November 30, so add them to your library even if your backlog is screaming. We broke the full lineup down in PS Plus November Is STACKED — Dead Island 2, a Tomb Raider Trilogy and Monster Train 2 Are FREE Starting Tuesday.
