Thursday is here, and that means a fresh batch of Nintendo eShop new releases has landed for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch. This week is led by a remake of one of the most beloved games ever made, plus a strong mix of action, fighters, and relaxing adventures. Here is everything worth your time, and your money, in the Nintendo eShop this week.
Notable Nintendo eShop New Releases This Week
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
November 5 • Nintendo Switch 2 • $59.99
Link returns to Hyrule in a ground-up remake of the Nintendo 64 classic, rebuilt for Nintendo Switch 2 with overhauled visuals, orchestral music, voice acting, expanded cutscenes, and enhanced controls with a modern camera. It is the headline among this week’s Nintendo eShop new releases for a reason: this is the adventure many players first fell in love with Zelda through, now made to feel current without losing what made it special.
Stellar Blade Complete Edition
November 5 • Nintendo Switch 2 • $59.99
EVE takes on the Naytiba in this story-driven action adventure, now in its Complete Edition on Nintendo Switch 2. It includes the NieR:Automata and GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE collaboration content, plus Bayonetta-inspired outfits, and Joy-Con 2 motion controls for activities like fishing. It is a slick, confident port of one of the flashiest action games of the last few years.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Encore Edition
November 5 • Nintendo Switch 2 • $39.99
Star-Lord and the crew return in an optimized Encore Edition, with five exclusive 1980s glam-rock outfits and mouse and gyro controls on Nintendo Switch 2. If you missed this funny, heartfelt space adventure the first time around, this is a very good excuse to catch up. We also covered the wider Nintendo drop in last week’s Nintendo roundup.
Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game
November 5 • Nintendo Switch 2 • $29.99
A 1v1 fighter bringing together benders from Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra, with cross-play so you can face friends on other platforms. At $29.99, it is an easy pickup for Avatar fans who want a fast, accessible fighter to jump into with friends.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2 – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition
November 5 • Nintendo Switch 2 • $39.99
Tanjiro and the Demon Slayer Corps return for another round of stylish arena battles and story-driven action on Nintendo Switch 2. The sequel builds on the first game’s well-received combat, and the Switch 2 Edition is the version to pick up if you are playing on Nintendo’s new hardware.
Sword of the Sea
November 5 • Nintendo Switch 2 • $29.99
From Giant Squid, the studio behind ABZU, comes an atmospheric surfing adventure across a flooded world on a Hoversword. Sword of the Sea shares the art lineage of Journey and ABZU, and it is the calm, beautiful counterpoint to this week’s bigger action releases.
ZERO PARADES: Director’s Cut
November 5 • Nintendo Switch 2 • $39.99
Listed in Nintendo’s Download list as Zero Parades: Director’s Cut, with the full title Zero Parades For Dead Spies, this is a stylish, offbeat addition to the week’s Nintendo Switch 2 lineup. If you like games that do not quite fit into a neat genre box, this one is worth a closer look.
Also worth a look: Shrek 2 Remastered
November 10 • Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch • $29.99
Shrek and Donkey’s fairy-tale adventure returns in a remastered edition arriving November 10 on both Switch 2 and Switch. It is a nostalgic pick for anyone who grew up with the film, and a fun co-op option for a family game night.
